Another school year is almost over! The older I get, the faster time passes. I swore that I would never say that, but by-golly it is TRUE!
And as school winds down, things are getting busier around the church. Please be in prayer for the following and get involved if you have the chance:
  • Annual Conference will be held June 7-10 in Shreveport. The United Methodist Church is in a major time of decision making, so prayers for wisdom and discernment are appreciated!
  • Vacation Bible School will be held June 25-29. We are excited to welcome kids who are entering kindergarten through 6th grade to learn more about who Jesus is!
  • Our annual summer mission trip will be July 9-14, and we are returning to Dulac! There is still space on the team, so please pray about joining us as we help God’s children.
  • The Family Life Center Renovation Project is continuing to move forward. We have received approval from the conference to proceed! Stay tuned for information on next steps in construction.

Baby Bottle Blessings
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On Mother’s Day (May 14th), each family is invited to pick up an empty baby bottle in the church foyer. From then until Father’s Day (June 18th), fill the bottle with coins, bills, or checks.  Turn in your bottle at church on the 18th. All donations will benefit "LifeChoices of Ruston," a ministry helping women facing unplanned pregnancies and families who choose life.  If you do not get a bottle, you can bring your offering in a baggie.
